What a way to spend Thanksgiving! After Mom baked not one but TWO turkeys for the squadrons Thanksgiving dinner our friend Susan arrived from the great USA and we took off for Austria! The Palmer family has a lot to be thankful for this year. I was born by emergency C-section, Moxie was bit by a venemous viper snake and survived, we had lots of our loved one come and visit us, we had a safe and fun trip back to our homeland, we visited many great places, Moxie survived knee surgery, Mom can fit back into most of her old jeans, and last but not at all least Dad safely ejected from his spiraling out of control jet with a mere scratch on his knuckles. We thank all of you for all of the support, phone calls of support, emails, cards, and baby loot through all of it. We are so very thankful for all of you in our lives. Now, here are some Berchtesgaden sites...

This is along our walk in Berchtesgaden. A little snow didn't keep us inside. The weather was actually really nice. We lucked out and made it there inbetween snow storms. The photo below is Dad in a few years. Seriously though, this is one of those embarassing parent moments. You know those moments where you just want to scream, "Mom, you are embrassing me!!" Here Mom stops and asks this nice jolly fellow if she can take his photo! OMG. Well, you can see why..

Berchtesgaden is one of those quaint old towns. The walk through the beautiful town center draws you in. You are surrounded by snowy mountains and cute shops.
