Green Thumbs

Some garden updates. Here Tim planted some rose bushes. There is a girl in the squadron who wanted these rose bushes out of her garden. She said if Tim would dig them up, he could have them. We thought it would be nice to have some grown plants in the new yard. They looked fantastc until they went into shock from the transplant. We hope they will come back!!! Logan LOVES them. He enjoys picking the flowers and walking all around the bushes. Tim will tells him to watch out they are sharp and Logan tells him, "no, no hurt".

Here are the veggies a growing. So far we have enjoyed radishes, spinach, potatoes and onions.

What is that?! Mice!! We found mice making a home in our bbq grill!!! So Tim proceeded to catch them. They were babies so he was able to catch two of them. We went out to Wal-Mart and got a little plastic cage and let Logan keep them. Yes, that is right, we let him keep them. We didnt let him touch them as we dont know what disease they might carry but they were fun to watch. Moxie loved it. sadly they only lasted a few short days. Yes, we fed them and gave them water but when you have a labrador jumping at you etc you are likely to freak out.

Whenever Tim mows Logan mows. This time he has a Popsicle and learned it was hard to eat his popsicle and mow.
Here he is watching Tim mow and eating his popsicle. On the web the photo is so small it ia hard to see.
I potted some flowers. They are growing nicely. I got creative and did a mixture that I am hoping will bloom down the pot a bit.
Another day of mowing...
Mowing is hard work!

There is nothing like a good mow to make your day!
